Passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019.
Christie was a 2009 graduate of McKean High School. She was a waitress at Feby's Fishery and Restaurant but her true calling was child care. Christie was a dedicated employee of Mary Moppets Day Care in Rosemont for over 5 years.
Christie was an outgoing and loving soul. She was a passionate person who was not afraid to stand her ground. But most notably, Christie loved her children above all things.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Elvira Stevens and William Riley, Sr; and her uncle, Jake Brittingham.
Left to cherish Christie's memory are her children, Gabriella Giles and Camron Riley; her parents, Michael and Debbie Riley; her maternal grandparents, John and Sharon Brittingham; her aunts and uncles, Sherry Brittingham, Jackie Gallagher, William Riley Jr, and Philip Riley as well as a large loving extended family.
A visitation will be held at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805, on Tuesday, January 22, from 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made to "Christie Riley's Burial" via Go Fund Me.
