Christina M. Casey, aged 60, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Newark, Delaware. Born on January 1, 1966, in Wilmington, Delaware, Christina was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend to many.

Christina was a proud 1984 graduate of Padua Academy and attended Goldey-Beacom College. She dedicated over 30 years of her professional life to Bank of America, where she served with distinction as an Assistant Vice President.

A devoted member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Christina found joy in her faith and community. She possessed a remarkable creative spirit, manifesting in her many talents, including wreath making, crocheting, and an array of Christmas crafts. Her home was a true reflection of her love, characterized by warmth and hospitality, where she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Christina also nurtured a beautiful garden filled with vibrant flowers and tended to numerous houseplants, showcasing her green thumb and passion for nature. She was the ultimate animal lover and her home often had more than a few pets.

Christina was a loving wife to her husband, Joseph Casey, and a dedicated mother to her cherished children, Erin and Liam Casey. Her world revolved around her family, whether it was taking memorable cruises with her husband or recently taking up kickboxing, Christina embraced life fully.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Alice (Dempsey) Perry; her sisters, Mary Alice Perry and Patricia Reed; her niece, Jennifer Reed; and her first husband, Owen Doherty.

In addition to her husband and children, she will be dearly missed by her siblings, Russell Perry, Kathy Zulkowski (Patrick), Michael Perry, Geralyn Hill, and Georgine McGuirk (Darren); her brother-in-law, Charles Reed, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 16 at 12:00pm at St. Mary of the Assumption R.C. Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707. Friends may call at the church from 11:00am-12:00pm. Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery on April 22, at 10:00am.
