Aunt Clara

Age 88, died peacefully at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 8, 2010.

Aunt Clara was born and raised in Shawtown neighborhood of New Castle. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter R. C. Church of New Castle.

Clara worked for the Colonial School District for over 30 years. She was a member of the St. Anthony's Club. She enjoyed Bingo and Delaware Park. Her home was always open to family and friends. Aunt Clara was a loving devoted and charitable friend to all and adored by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Clara always lead the way in fundraising for St. Peter's.

Clara was the daughter of the late Fliciano and Margarita (Basilica) Susi. She was the last surviving member of the first generation of the Susi family. She is survived by her sons, Daniel J. Susi, Adam Millius and his wife Irene, and Michael J. Millius and his wife Pat; her grandchildren, D.J., Lisa, Darren and Ross; and her great grandchildren, Brittany, Anthony, Casey, Bradley, Dominic, Kelsea, and Ashlin.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Jerry, Josephine, and Reid for the care of Aunt Clara.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter R. C. Church, 5th & Harmony Sts., New Castle on Thursday, May 13th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at St. Peter's Church on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
