Conor Patrick Neylon, age 21, passed peacefully on June 30, 2024.
Conor is survived by his loving parents, William and Stacy; his big brother, Casey; maternal grandmother, Ann Marie Casey; maternal grandfather, Lawrence Hahn (Kathy); and paternal grandfather, Thomas Neylon. He is also survived by his Aunt Dee and Uncle Doug, Uncle Larry and Aunt Janine, Uncle Tommy, Uncle Mike and Aunt Tara, Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Vicki; and loving cousins, David (Ana), Andrew, Meghan, Bret, Seir, Leila, Sean, Ryan, Abby and Sadie. Conor was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Neylon.
Conor graduated from Salesianum School in 2021. He will be awarded the Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Delaware (posthumously). Conor was a proud member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Conor was an athlete to his core; enjoyed playing all sports especially basketball and golf. He was also an avid fan of UNC basketball and all Philadelphia sports teams. Most will agree that he was competitive in all things and wasn't afraid to show it. He loved going to Dewey beach with his friends and family or hanging out at the pool.
Conor, affectionately known as as Connie, Con-man, "C" and little s**t, made friends wherever he went. He had a special knack for making everyone laugh and lightening the mood. Conor was truly blessed with cherished friends from St. John the Beloved, Sallies, and his fraternity brothers.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 7 from 6:30 pm-9:00 pm at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 901 N. DuPont St., Wilm., DE 19805. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church on Monday, July 8 at 1:30 pm. The interment will take place privately
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances for Conor be made in the form of contributions to Community Collaboration of Delaware (CCD), a local nonprofit that Conor was proud to work for. CCD is located at 621 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720.
