Crystal Lynn Rogers

Crystal Lynn Rogers became our guardian angel on January 2, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family. She was 32 years old.

Crystal graduated from Hodgson Vo-Tech School in 1999, where she played on the basketball team. Crystal was a warm compassionate person who could not help but take care of any stray animal she came across, she especially loved her cats. She enjoyed playing and watching all kinds of sports; however, her greatest love was her family especially her nephew, Dayton. They were inseparable.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Wyszynski; her paternal grandfather, George William Rogers, Sr., and her uncle, Billy Jones.

Crystal is now watching over her devoted parents, April and George Rogers, Jr.; her sister, Ruthie Agnew; her brothers, George Rogers III and his wife Mandee, Richard Rogers and his fiancé Kim DeRose; and her loving partner, Robyn Clendaniel. Also being protected by her wings are her five nephews, Dayton, Keegan, Blake, Liam, and Bentley; her nieces Gigi, Mackenzie, and Aria; her Aunt Nikki and John Miles, Uncle Kenny Rogers and his husband Gary, Aunt Ellen and John Cawthray, and Uncle Arthur Kistler. Crystal will also be wrapping her arms around numerous cousins and many many friends.

A celebration of Crystal's life will take place at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 34 West 6th Street, New Castle, on Wednesday, January 8 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Burial will be private. Please dress casual as this is how Crystal lived her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19805 to help defray her funeral expenses or to the Delaware SPCA, 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713 in her memory.
