Daniel T. Giafski
Age 81, born July 9, 1928 went home to the Lord on Friday, May 29, 2009.
Born in Nanticoke, PA he was the son of the late Stanley and Lottie Giafski.
He served during WWII in Germany as a First Lieutenant.
He graduated from Wilkesbarre College, PA.
He was a computer analyst for 35 years at DuPont. After retirement Daniel enjoyed the simple life.
He is survived by his best friend, Rodney M. Mitchem, sister-in-law Florence Giafski, cousins, Dee and Len Donahoue, Barb and Art Serris, Beth and Larry Reynolds, Alicia and Brian Boucher, Joan Dituri, Rich and Helene Cronk, and Aunt Wanda Zecca.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Thursday, June 4th at 12 noon. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday evening June 3rd. Interment in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
