Deborah Ann Sweeney
Age 40, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2010 at her home in New Britain, Connecticut.
Debbie worked for over five years with the Judicial Services of the State of Connecticut. Prior to that she worked for the Dept. of Labor with the State of Delaware.
She was born and raised in Wilmington and was a 1989 graduate of the St. Elizabeth High School.
Debbie was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan. She always enjoyed writing both poetry and short stories. She also liked making and selling her homemade jewelry.
Debbie is the daughter of Joseph M. and Regina E. Sweeney of Wilmington; her sister, Kathy Myers and husband, Brian; her nieces, Mackenzie and Jax; her nephew, Andrew; and her dear friends, Mike Crilley and Dan Traut.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth R. C. Church, Clayton St., Wilmington, on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the St. Elizabeth R. C. Church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
