Randy Speakman

Dennis Randolph (Randy) Speakman, age 57 died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Heartland Hospice House.

He was known for his sense of adventure, curiosity, humor and quick wit.

He attended Corpus Christi School, Oak Grove, and Conrad High School. He Graduated from James H. Groves High School.

Randy served in the United States Army and Delaware Army National Guard.

He was a car salesman, roofing and siding mechanic, and professional truck and bus driver.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, John D. Speakman, Sr.; nephew, Gregory Speakman; and beloved dog, Teeny. He is survived by his best friend and love of his life, Cassandra Lynn King; mother, Betty Speakman; brothers and sisters, John D. Speakman, Jr. and his wife Marie, Steve Speakman and his wife Tina, Kathy Walsh and her husband Patrick, Karen Speakman, Tom Speakman and his wife Billie, Judy Shaw and her husband Mark, Bob Speakman, and Tina Speakman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Friday, February 19th at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday morning. Interment in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington.
