DIANA SANTOWSKI SCHIAVI

Diana S. Schiavi, age 66, of Lewes, Delaware, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer on Tuesday, April 9, 2013.

Diana worked for 15 years at the tax firm Jefferson, Urian, Doane & Sterner, P.A. in Georgetown, Delaware where she will always be remembered for her strong work ethic, dedication, and sense of humor.

Diana loved to bring people together and entertain. She spent her free time gardening, and in the company of friends and family. She was adventurous and free spirited, bringing her trademark humor to any situation. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children; Robert A. Schiavi, and Ann Marie Schiavi Stoltz; her grandchildren, Jacob and Samantha Stoltz; her former husband, J.B. Robert Schiavi; her sisters, Janice Santowski Hicks, and Mary Louise Fix; her brother; Joseph Santowski; a multitude of nieces and nephews; and special friends whom she loved dearly. Diana was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Santowski.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's R. C. Church, 901 North DuPont St., Wilmington on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. Burial is private.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made in Diana's honor to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
