"Dee"

Dolores A. Dougherty, age 76, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Seasons Hospice in Christiana Hospital surrounded by her family.

Dee worked 23 years in the Human Resources department of Bank of Delaware/PNC. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1954. She enjoyed spending time at the Delaware beaches, playing cards, bowling, taking cruises with her sister, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Dougherty Sr.; her son, Glenn M. Dougherty; her grandson, Cody (man) Kegelman; her parents, Olympia and Salvatore Mongillo; and her sister, Rose Murray.

Dee and her loving husband, Paul Sr., raised four children, Paul Jr., Glenn, Kim Kegelman and Diane Force.

She leaves behind three grandchildren, Katie Dougherty, Stephanie Force, and Michael Kegelman. She also leaves behind three sisters, Irene Mooney, Marguerite Rash, and Eleanor Modjewski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas R. C. Church, 4th & Bancroft Pkwy., Wilmington, on Tuesday, December 18, at 11:00 am. Friends may call at St. Thomas R. C. Church on Tuesday morning 9:30-11:00 am. Interment will be held in Cathedral Cemetery.
