Earl B. Marrs

Born in Brewsterdale, WV September 19, 1938 Earl died peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Christiana Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Earl was son of the late Reece Marrs and Annie Nunley Marrs.

He retired in 1993 from GM Boxwood Road Plant. He also worked for Hurlock Roofing Co. 24 plus years.

Earl was an avid deer hunter. He was a member of the Local 435 UAW.

Earl was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Lee Marrs; brother Roy Allen Marrs; and sister, Logean Casey. He is survived by his wife Fay Marrs; daughter, Rebecca Dunfee and her husband Willie; granddaughter, Jenny Czetti and her husband Mike; great grandchildren, Ashley, Kierstin and Nolan; brothers and sisters, Arnold Marrs and his wife Virginia of Brewsterdale, WV, Jessie C. Marrs and his wife Mildred of Tazewell, VA, Ora Nunley and her husband Sherman of Brewsterdale, WV, Ellie Lambert of Brewsterdale, WV, Roney Marrs and his wife Katheryn of Brewsterdale, WV, and Elsie Bishop and her husband Paul of Clayton, DE; brother-in-law Emmitt Casey; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Perry & St. Clair Funeral Home, 111 Ben Bolt Ave., Tazewell, VA (Tele: 276-988-4109) on Friday, May 8th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday morning. Interment in Brewsterdale Cemetery, Brewsterdale, WV.
