Edward "Ed" J. Pawlowicz

Ed passed into his next life peacefully on Sunday, October 18th, 2015.
Ed was born in South Wilmington and loved to travel. He motored across the United States twice, spent time in Florida for a few months every year, and spent many family vacations in Dewey Beach. He was a member of St. Anthony's Club and enjoyed playing in their bocce league where he was known as, "Steady Eddie". He was an active parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Ed was preceded in death by his father Julian Pawlowicz, mother Anna (Kachmar) Pawlowicz-Murphy, sister Lillian Baker, and brother Joseph Pawlowicz. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen, and his three daughters, Maria Sinnott (Michael), Melissa Moore, and Julia Nass. Pap will be dearly missed by his grandchildren; Hope and Julian Moore, Audrey, Isabel, and Greg Nass, and Timothy and Camille Sinnott. Ed is also survived by his sisters, Eleanor Jablonski, Marie McKelvey, Carol McElhannon; and brother, Charles Murphy as well as many his many nieces, nephews, and large extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit R.C. Church, 12 Winder Rd., New Castle, De 19720, on Sat, Oct 24, at 11:00am. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 am – 11:00am. Interment will be private.
