Edward M. Sharkey
Age 66 – Wilmington
Went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife, Joan, on Monday, November 23, 2015.
Shark graduated from Salesianum School in 1967 and attended the University of Delaware. He was a member of IBEW 313 for 40 years as a master electrician. He married the love of his life, Joan, in 1981.
He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and hiking, and was an avid NRA member.
Shark was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, and his father, Edward, Sr. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Yetto (Rob), Donna Crumley (Bill), and Rebecca; his sons, Richard Crumley and Mark Crumley; his mother, Elizabeth; his sister, Mary Beth Soja; his brothers, Robert , David, and Kenneth; his grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, Laura, Richard, Alicia, Joshua, Stephen, Jessica, Tanner, and Chase; his 10 greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Service on Monday, November 30, at 11:00 am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere. A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
