Left this earth on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Heartland Hospice after a long illness.

Betty was a homemaker and exceptional cook. Betty married the love of her life, Tom, and together they enjoyed many happy years. They especially loved visiting local casinos.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Buck; her grandson, Scott Hames; and her brother, James Christina.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Carol Hames, and her two brothers, Bernard Christina and Robert Christina. Betty is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of Heartland Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion Betty received during her stay.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE, on Thursday, Sept 6 from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Interment will take place privately at All Saints Cemetery.
