Elizabeth "Betty" Matiska
Age 94
Passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Betty loved crocheting, sewing, and baking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Matisko, and her grandson, John Bamber, her sisters, Anna Mae Kapochus and Dorothy Bizub; and her brother, Joseph Urban.
Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bernice and Robert Bamber; her granddaughter, Michelle (Joseph) Lamers; her grandson, Brian (Amie) Bamber; her great-grandchildren, Brady, Brett, Bryce, Braelyn, Corrin, and Zaiden; her sister, Josephine Wienckosky of Florida; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital for the care they provided.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret of Scotland R.C. Church, 2431 Frazer Road, Newark, DE on Wednesday, January 18, at 12 noon. A viewing will take place at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:30 to noon.
Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery.
