Age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2014 at her son's home in Wilmington, DE, surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born in Philadelphia, PA to Henry E. and Josephine M. (Cunningham) Graeff. She graduated from Olney High School, and kept close ties with her sorority sisters, who she had lunch with every month since graduation. She worked as a secretary at the Reading Railroad, and later in life worked as a bank teller at Harleysville National Bank. While working at the Reading Railroad, Betty and her sister, June, loved to perform singing and dancing routines at company events.

She married Bruce G. Ruoff in 1957, and they raised their two children in Landsdale. She loved to host holiday and birthday dinners every year, even as recently as the past 4th of July party. She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church since 1970, where she was in the bell choir, sang with the adult choir, and taught the youth choir.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, June Needhammer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bruce Ruoff; her daughter, Susan Ruoff; her son, Paul Ruoff and his wife, Mary; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Colleen, Tara, Matthew, Meghan, and Grace Ruoff.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Service on Friday, November 21, at 11:00 am at Christ United Methodist Church, 1020 South Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA. Visitation will take place at the Church from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA.
