Ellen Mary Barlow

Age 53, of New Castle, DE passed Saturday, October 16, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Jean C. Gallagher and the late Thomas E. Gallagher.

Ellen was born on September 13, 1957 in Wilmington, DE.

She was a graduate of St. Mark's High School. Ellen was an avid reader. She also enjoyed gardening, ceramics, puzzles, baking, every single holiday, and the company of her grandbabies.

Ellen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She will be missed by Charlie, her husband of 32 years; her children, Deanna Zimmerman and her husband Dave, Sarah, and Chas. Ellen was "Nana" to her four precious grandsons, David, Nathaniel, C. T., and Cole. She leaves behind her brothers and sisters, Maryjean, Paula, Pat, Tucky, Vincent, Sean, Monica, and Jill; her mother-in-law, Neva Barlow; brother-in-law, Jerry Barlow; sister-in-law, Elaine Chester; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved very much.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit 12 Winder Rd., New Castle, on Monday, October 25th at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Interment in St. Peter R. C. Church Cemetery.
