Ellen P. Bleacher
Age 69 of Wilmington
Passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2024.
Ellen was the was born in Wilmington to Susan and Cornelius Lehane. She enlisted in the United States Army and faithfully served her country during Desert Storm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bleacher; her father, Cornelio's Lehane; and brother, Cornelius Lehane, Jr.
Ellen will be dearly missed by her mother, Susan Lehane, and her sisters, Karen Calahan (Hugh), Joan Glunt, and Nancy Furlong (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, can friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 6 at 11:00am at St. Matthew R.C. Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilm., DE 19804. Friends may call at the church from 10:30am-11:00am. Burial will take place privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Ellen's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/.
