Eugenia (Jean) Boyd
Died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 8, 2011.
Jean was heavily involved in the inception of the sports program at Holy Angels along with her husband, Jack. She attended St. Elizabeth's High School. Jean worked as a real estate agent for many years in Delaware.
She was the daughter of the late Vincent P. and Mary L. Mullen Moughan. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John W. "Jack" Boyd in 2001; her twin sister, Ann Moughan Roddy; and her brother, William Moughan. She is survived by 5 loving children, John (Jack) Jr., Ann Boyd Cobb, Robert, Lauri Boyd Taylor, and William (Bill); her brother, Vincent Moughan, her sister, Mary Gildea; and 10 loving grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Angels, Possum Park Rd., Newark, on Saturday morning February 12th at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the church from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Saturday morning. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Newark.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
