Mr. Florence Michael Callahan
Mr. F. Michael Callahan, Age 75, of Milltown, born and raised in Wilmington, died on May 6, 2011 at Wilmington Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
F. Michael Callahan worked for Delamore Dairy until its closing; then was employed by M. Fierro & Sons Company until retiring in 2007.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth Church, Elks Lodge #2540 of Lewes, DE, and Loyal Order of Moose #630 of Newark, DE.
He is survived by his wife Frances (Boyle) Callahan of 49 years. He is also survived by a brother, William of Lindon, UT; sisters-in-law, Naomi Callahan, Mary (Callahan) Noyle, and Ann (Callahan) Bogle of Wilmington, and Pat (Boyle) Vansant of Millsboro, DE. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth R. C. Church, S. Clayton St., Wilmington on Wednesday, May 11th at 10 a.m. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Tuesday evening, May 10th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entombment in Crypt of St. Ann at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
