Frances Carnley
Nee Pescatore

Age 72, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thurs., Feb. 13, 2014.
Franny was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who was most joyful when being with her family and friends.
She was very involved with her dear friends and neighbors and loved their group outings to dinner and bingo. Some of Franny's hobbies involved camping and fishing at their favorite spot at Chipmans Pond in Laurel, DE.
Franny was daughter of the late Frank and Mary Biliski Pescatore Gildersleeve. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Omer (Buddy) Carnley, Jr., who died in 2008.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Carnley; her grandchildren, Christi and Cory Carnley; her great-granddaughter, Isabella; and her sisters and brother, Irene Woodrow, Rose Rivers, Susan Nardinocchi, Lela Gildersleeve and J. C. Gildersleeve.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, 2220 N. duPont Hwy., New Castle, DE on Wed., Feb. 19, at 11:00 am. Friends may call at the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 34 West 6th St., New Castle, DE on Tues., Feb. 18, from 6:00-8:00 pm and may also gather at the Gracelawn Chapel, on Wed., Feb. 19, from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
