Gertrude T. (Trudy) Gorman
Age 85
Peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family, on June 24, 2025, in Melbourne, FL, at age 85. She was born to the late Arthur C. and Gertrude H. Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Joe; her daughter, Karen; and her sister, Pat.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri (James) Harkness of Cascade, MT and her son Joe, Jr. (Debra) Gorman of Cape Canaveral, FL; her six grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren. Trudy is also survived by her sisters, Frances (Richard) Cordrey and Barbara (Vincent) DiMondi.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 521 Harmony St., New Castle, DE, on Thursday, July 3 at 1:00 pm. Friends may call at the church from 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Trudy's memory to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
