Gladys Vista Nutt

Age 87, passed away early Tuesday morning surrounded by her family.

Born June 30, 1923 in Delta, PA, she was the only daughter of the late Norman and Margaret Bleacher.

Gladys was a caring homemaker and later a bookkeeper for her late husband's tile business.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ray Nutt; brothers, John, Leroy, and Ralph Bleacher. Gladys is survived by her brother, Dale Bleacher, Sr. (Evelyn); her four daughters, Karen Gottschall (Bill), Diane Maloney (John), Susan Schaal, and Patricia Norris; her six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Bridget), Jennifer, John (Stacey), Jessica, Joseph (Jessica), and Jacob Massi; and her four great grandchildren, Riley, Rian, Hayden, and Lana.

Gladys showed resilience and tremendous courage throughout her recent battles with illness. Her family is filled with gratitude for her generous and loving presence, a spirit they will carry throughout their lives.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Friday, June 10th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening, Thursday, June 9th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington.
