Harold Owens
Age 80, died February 24, 2011 at Heartland House surrounded by his loving family.
Harold worked for I.P.I./Witco Chemical as a chemical operator for 37 years, and Colonial School District for 7 years.
He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran who fought and served during the Korean War.
Harold was an avid Eagles fan and enjoyed all of the Philadelphia sports.
Harold was born in Taylor, PA, the son of the late Bert and Margaret Owens. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gene Owens; and sister, Betty Sitar. He is survived by his wife, Judith A. (Logue) Owens; his children, Guy Owens and his wife Anita, Lynn Rappa and her husband Joe; his grandchildren, Brian, Megan, and Nicole Owens, and Nicholas Rappa; and his brothers, Bert Owens, and Jack Owens and his wife Nancie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, DuPont Pkwy., New Castle on Monday, February 28th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
