Harry Ashur Reynolds, Jr.

Age 77, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 14, 2018.

Harry was born on October 21, 1940 to Harry and Ella Reynolds. He was a graduate of Conrad High School in 1958, and immediately joined the U.S. Army. He served his country in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne from 1958 until 1962.

He was active in the Elsmere community and Corpus Christi Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Blessed Sacrament Council for over 45 years. He was an avid Philly sports fan, who never though he would see the Eagles win the Super Bowl.

Harry was preceded in death in 2016 by his lovely wife of 53 years, Rita, and his brother, Leonard, in 1995. He is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Debra and John Acton, and Donna and Jim Martinez; his son, Michael Reynolds, and his wife, Michele; his sister, Linda Hackendorn, and her husband, Francis (Pat); 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 905 New Road, Elsmere, on Thursday, June 28, at 12 noon. A visitation will take place at the church on Thursday from 11:00 am to 12 noon. Interment will take place at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
