Helen J. Bailey
Age 81, passed away peacefully at Renaissance Rehabilitation in Millsboro on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
Helen began her career as a cook at A I duPont Institute for Children. She retired from the Wilmington Shop after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Red Hat Society when she resided at the Brandywine Springs Nursing Home. She was a devoted animal lover.
She is survived by her children, Richard Brown, Geraldine Bailey, Doris Bailey, Gerald Bailey, James Bailey, Joseph Bailey, and Cathy Roe; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Roy Brown and Tommy Brown.
Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside Service at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, 2220 North duPont Highway, New Castle, on Monday, November 9, at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
