Irene J. Claypoole
Age 86, formerly of Wilmington, DE, died on December 23, 2011 in Covington, GA.
Irene was a retired nurse. She worked for Delaware Hospital in 1946, and she also worked at the Wilmington General in 1955 as a private duty nurse.
She was a member of the Delaware Nurses Assn., and Corpus Christi R. C. Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deavmont E. Claypoole; and her daughter, Marsha Vosters. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Woolfal of Covington, GA; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the church from 10:30 am to 11 am on Thursday morning. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Newark.
