James Dominic Delligatti
Age 83 of Summit
Passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Known as Jim to his friends and Poppop to his family, he worked at Wilmington Dry Goods and then the Internal Revenue Service until his retirement.
He loved spending time with his family and he enjoyed taking in the horse racing at Delaware Park. Jim was particularly known for his wry and clever sense of humor & for his fierce dedication to his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Furio and Florence Delligatti, his brother, John Delligatti, his son, James Delligatti, Jr., and his grandson, Matthew Malandruccolo.
He will is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Wilson Delligatti, sons Wesley (Donna) Delligatti & Thomas (Susan) Delligatti, daughter, Dianna Delligatti; grandchildren, Dianna (Jeff) Smith, Anthony Smith, Wesley Marks, Elizabeth "Jade" Bruce, Amber Richardson, Ashley Boswell and Paul Pasturski, Jr.; great-grandchildren, David Smith, Isabelle Smith, Stephen Frey and Gabriel Frey.
Visitation from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, Memorial Service from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, Saturday, November 5th at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, New Castle, DE.
