James J. DeMaio
Age 70 of Wilmington, DE
Passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021.
Jim retired from the Air National Guard after 40 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and bowling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James V. and Gilda "Jill" DeMaio, and his sister, Joan Ferguson.
Jim will be dearly missed by his wife, Susan; his children, James T. DeMaio (Kelley) and Debi Hobbs (Doug); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Madalyn and Julian. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph A. DeMaio and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 21, at 11:30am at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church 809 S. Broom St., Wilm., DE 19805. Friends may call at the church from 10:00am-11:00am. Interment will take place at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Friday, July 2 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family ask contribution to be made in Jim's name to St. Elizabeth R.C. Church.
