Passed away at Christiana Hospital on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 surrounded by her four children.

Jane was born to the late Harold and Florence Heycock in Summit Hill, PA on Christmas Day, 1931. She met the love of her life, Alfred Holliday, in elementary school. They attended school together until graduation from Summit Hill High. Upon graduation, Jane went to music school in St. Louis and later attended Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia. She moved to Delaware, where she worked as a nurse for 40 years.

She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church for over 60 years and was a member of the church choir. She played the organ at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred. She is survived by her children, Beth Young, Deborah Taber, Alfred Holliday, and Brian Holliday; and 10 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Saturday, November 28, at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, 2101 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington. A viewing will take place at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will take place on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
