Jane Elizabeth Ievoli
11/14/1924 – 02/09/2023

Jane grew up on 4th Street in Wilmington within blocks of her numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family was everything to Jane and she helped care for many of her relatives throughout her life.

Jane retired in 1984 after a long career with Diamond State Telephone (later Bell Atlantic) during which time she was a member of the Pioneers, a service organization within the phone company.

She loved to travel, especially with her dear friend Connie O'Neill. She visited numerous locations including Italy, Hawaii, Florida, Cuba, Jamacia, The Bahamas, and New York City. Another favorite destination was Fenwick Island where Jane often took her extended family for summer vacations. Bus trips to Atlantic City were a constant after retirement. As her traveling days slowed, Jane became a fixture at Delaware Park.

Despite having no children of her own, Jane was always ready to babysit her brother's children and their children after that. Referred to affectionally as "Aunt Jane" by her many nieces, nephews, and younger generations, Jane helped to spoil a great many children.

Jane spent the last four years living with Mary Jane Soja and her family so she could receive the highest possible care. She was given the best love and affection that family can provide with her great-nephew, Thomas Soja, acting as her primary caregiver.

Jane is predeceased by her parents, sister, brother, and nephew Anthony Ievoli.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Mary Jane Soja, Michael Ievoli, Ann Marie Bleacher, Stephen Ievoli, and Richard Ievoli, who would all like to express their gratitude for her love, kindness, and generosity. Their lives were greatly enriched by Aunt Jane, and they and their children will miss her dearly, but will never forget Aunt Jane said.
