Age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

Jane loved spending time at the beach and had a great love for animals. She supported numerous charities for the benefit of animals. Jane was a founding member of the Diamond State German Shepherd Club, and she raised many champion shepherds. Jane was a supervisor at Bell Telephone for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sayers, her two brothers, William and George, and her sister, Jeannette Truax. She is survived by her children, Joseph, and his fiancée, Jennifer, Gail Collins, and her husband, Jim, and Edward, all of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Melanie, and Michael; and her great-grandchildren, Sarah, Ross, and Arielle Crumbley.

Relatives and friends and invited to the Service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere, on Wednesday, January 20, at 11:30 am. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30-11:30 am. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
