Jennie Louise Borgia
Age 96 of Wilmington
Passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021. Jennie was born in Wilmington, DE on July 12, 1924, to the late Anthony and Bianca Imperiale.
Jennie spent her younger years as a homemaker raising five children. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She loved watching television and playing with her beloved cat, Midnight, which always brought a smile to her face.
Jennie was preceded in death by husband of 40 years, George T. Borgia, in 1987 and granddaughter, Gloria Cole, in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph and John Imperial, Rose Nicolaus, and Mary Cannelongo. Jennie is survived by her loving children, JoAnne Hardy (Warren), Rosemarie Cole (Daniel), Thomas Borgia (Diane), Elizabeth Rabon who was her caregiver, and Teresa Mancini (Joseph). Jennie is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jennie was a devoted wife and mother. She will be dearly missed for her quick wit, fun personality, and her overall loving and sweet nature. She will be forever in our hearts.
Interment will take place on Thursday, July 1 at 11:00am at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Ave., Wilm., DE 19805. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Seasons Hospice, LLC.
