Jeremiah Francis McElrone
Age 55, died peacefully on June 15, 2012 at Heartland Hospice House.
He worked for General Motors and retired after 25 years. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 435 Union.
Jerry was the son of the late Jerome F. and Helen I. McElrone. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerome F. McElrone.
He is survived by his fiance', Carla Simpkins of Wilmington, DE; his daughters, Heather Knight of Spring Lake, NC, Alyse McElrone of Wilmington, DE, and Molly McElrone of Wilmington, DE; his step-daughters who he raised as his own, Katie Cochrane, and Sarah Cochrane both of Wilmington, DE; his beloved grandkids, Branning, Alyvia, Cameron, Evan, Alonna, Tatiana, Trinity, and Leah; and his siblings, John McElrone, Daniel McElrone, and Maryellen Lyons.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life at Elsmere Fire Hall, Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on June 21, 2012 at 6 pm.
