Joan I. Boyle
"Teenie"
Age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, April, 25, 2011.
Joan was born and raised in Wilmington. She was a graduate of St. Joseph on the Brandywine. As a young girl she worked for Kennard's. After marrying Joan devoted herself to her family.

She was a member of Corpus Christi R. C. Church for over 50 years. She was an avid bowler and participated in a league for many years.

Teenie was a caring and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Joan was the daughter of the late James W. and Catherine M. (Blessington) Walls. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Boyle, Jr.; her daughter, Donna Marie (Boyle) Lynn; her brother, Jimmy; and her sister, Jane. She is survived by her daughters, Elise J. (Boyle) Johnson and her husband Charles, and Regina "Gina" Boyle; her beloved grandchildren, Allison, Amanda, and Timothy; her brother, Francis "Puz" Walls and his wife Eleanor; her son-in-law, Mickey Lynn; and her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Monday, May 2nd at 12 noon. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Monday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Entombment in the Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
