Joan Marie Tolbert (Eannone) age 68 of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Joan was born on July 21, 1952 to the late Ralph and Joann Eannone. She attended Wilmington High School. Following high school, Joan went on to start her family. She later worked for the Red Clay School District for many years. Joan loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed their trips to the beach, shopping and dining out.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Tolbert.

She is survived by her three sons, Ralph, David and Keith Jewell of Wilmington; her sister, Carmella Bergez (Rick); grandchildren, Tyler, Johanna, Zachary, Keith and Kyle Jewell; her aunt, Virginia Thorpe; niece, Jo Ann Pedrick (Dustin); and nephew, Robert Bergez (Mary); as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 4 at 12:00pm at St. Matthews R.C. Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804. A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy. Wilmington, DE 19805. Interment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
