Obituary
Joaquin Cabrera-Baez passed away peacefully on March 22, surrounded by his loving family.
Joaquin was born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Cabrera and Justina Baez. He is a retired Army Veteran served his country proudly during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he went on to become an elementary school teacher.
Joaquin was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed reading, painting and spending time gardening.
He was preceded in death by Eloy.
He is survived by his wife, Cristobalina; and his children, Magaly, Waleska, Willy, Abdier, Tita, Hector, Hilda and Juni.
Services for Joaquin will be held privately. A public Mass will be held at a later date.
