Age 51 of Elkton, MD
Passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 in his home.
John was born in Wilmington to Alfred Bader and the late Pauline (McMillan) Bader.
He made his career as a very strong, hardworking mason tender for Joseph Rizzo and Sons, and Laborer's Local 199 for 25 years.
John had a huge heart and was an amazing cook. He often expressed his love for his friends and family by making them delicious meals. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. John absolutely adored the time spent with his granddaughter, Emmie, and "Little Buddy" Mack.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Bader, and nephew, Kenneth Montgomery, Jr.
John will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 31 years, Wendi R. (Walters) Bader; his children, Lindsay Bader (Dan) of Newark, and Elise Bader (John) of Newark; and his granddaughter, Emeline Zebley. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick Kelly (Sherri), Alfred Bader, Laurie Montgomery (Ken), David Bader (Jacki), and Daniel Bader (Christina), as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena, 2503 Centerville Rd, Wilm., DE 19808, on Friday, May 13 at 11:00am. Friend may call at the church from 10:00-11:00am. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
