John F. Bleacher, Jack or Zeke to those who knew him age 85, passed away on September 30, 2025 at home with his family.

John was a master mason who enjoyed a long career in his field leaving a legacy of brick work as a testament to his craft. Whenever you were out with him, he would point out all the places he had worked from the U of D to the neighbor's steps. His skill is present all through New Castle County.

He was a car and cycle enthusiast who enjoyed watching Nascar. He was an avid dog lover who always had one by his side.

John is predeceased by his wife Johanna.

He is survived by his 3 sons. Paul (Ann Marie), John F. Jr (Heather), Stefan. 5 Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel, Matthew, Paul Jr and Amanda. And 3 Great Grandchildren.
