John Patrick Tidwell III
Age 74 of New Castle
Passed away at home in Dobbinsville on Thursday, November 22, 2018
John served his country in the United States Navy. After his tour of duty, he went to work in the construction industry, working primarily as a roofer. He loved fishing, crabbing and hanging out with his friends and family. John enjoyed his yearly trips to Florida to visit his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Above all, John was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Tidwell, and his sisters, Barbara Morris and Patricia Tidwell.
John will be dearly missed by his daughter, Donna Tidwell, and her husband, William Saeger, Jr. of Florida; his grandchildren, Billy, Alexis, Joey, "Johabam" and Alyssa Paige all of Florida. He is also survived by his sisters, Kathleen Antonio and Peggy Ryan; best friend, Kevin Gland; and a many other family and friends.
