Passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, with his loving family by his side.
Jose was born in Wilmington, DE and attended Wilmington High School. He was a fan of all sports and loved music, especially his favorites, salsa, rock and hip-hop. Jose was a family man and treasured the time they spent together. He will be remembered as a happy go lucky guy who always had a smile on his face.
He is survived by his pride and joy, his daughter, Daesha Rivera; his parents, Aleida and Jose Rivera; his wife, Veronica; brother, Edwin Rivera and his wife Erin; nephew, Christian Rivera; niece, Emily; as well as a large extended family of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 12 pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE. A viewing will be held at the Funeral Home from 10 am-12 pm. Interment will be at Silverbrook Cemetery, immediately following the Service.
