Josefa Figueroa Rios passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

Josefa was the matriarch of the family. She loved music and always made it a point to dress to impress. And from her red lipstick to her fiery and fearless demeanor, she was a force to be reckoned with. Most of all she loved time spent with her family, especially during Christmas which was her favorite holiday.

Josefa was loved beyond measure and will forever live in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mariano Figueroa; Rafael Collazo; and Emmaluz Collazo.

Josefa is survived by her children, Francisco "Papo" Collazo and his wife, Stephanne, Maria "Tita" Rodriguez and her husband, Wilfredo; grandchildren, Lisa Rodriguez Hunter, Angela Collazo, Diana Matos, Jason Collazo, Francisco Collazo III and Carmen Collazo. Her great and great-great grandchildren, Emmaluz "Emmi" Ortiz, Maritza Molina, Katiana Jones, Jade Hernandez-Collazo, Zion Hunter, Pearl Collazo Brockert, Anyx Hall, Cataleya Ortiz, Zuri Glover, Michael Molina; daughter-in-law, Shirley Collazo; as well as a host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 24 at 12 noon at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1010 West 4th St. Wilmington, DE 19805. Friends may call at the church from 10 am-12 noon. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery following the Mass.
