Joseph Walter Marzocchi

Age 63, died August 8, 2010 at Christiana Hospital.

He proudly served his hometown of West New York, NJ for 36 years as a United States Postal Service Letter Carrier. He was also a 25 year Navy Veteran serving active duty during Vietnam, and continuing for 20 years in the Reserves.

After his retirement from the Post Office he relocated to Bear, Delaware. He worked at J. P. Morgan/Chase Facility where he truly enjoyed his work because of the many wonderful people there who became his friends.

In his spare time he enjoyed being a member of the Moose and spending time with his dog, Midnight, and cat, Rusty. He was also an avid Jets fan and will be looking forward to seeing them in the next Super Bowl.

He is survived by his many dear friends; his best friend and partner, Donna Maglione, who will forever cherish his memory; and his mother, Katherine (Marzocchi) Fox.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Krienen Funeral Home, 34 West 6th St., New Castle, Thursday evening, August 12th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be 11 a.m. on Friday, August 13th at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Bear.
