Kathleen P. "Cookie" Glunt
Age 74 of New Castle
Kathleen was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on May 10, 2023.
She was born to the late Eugene and Theresa O'Brien on the 4th of July 1948 in Salem, NJ. Kathy attend St. James Grade and High School graduating in 1966. She then attended Philadelphia General Hospital earning her RN Degree. After graduation, Kathy went to work at Salem Memorial Hospital and Pennsville Visiting Nurse Association before moving to Delaware and working at Christiana Care.
Kathy will be dearly missed by her husband of 41 years, Darrel Glunt; her children, Michael Taylor and James Patrick Taylor; her brother, Michael O'Brien (Nancy); sisters-in-law, Joan and Cindy; brother-in-law, Terry (Cindy); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service for Kathy on Friday, May 19 at 11:00am at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Ave., Wilm., DE 19805.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made to the Humane Society, 701 A St, Wilmington, DE 19801
