Kevin Paul Maney

Age 56, died suddenly at home on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

Kevin was a graduate of Henry C. Conrad High School and Delcastle Vocational Technical School. He was employed by Joseph Frederick & Sons and Hercules Incorporated. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Maney. He is survived by a large family who loved him including his brothers, Robert, James, Dennis, and David; his sisters, Mary Ann Peirson, Patricia Rhoads, Martha Ann Szczerba. In more recent years Kevin shared his life with Sally Heald, her daughter, Sarah, and Sarah's son, Brett, who referred to Kevin as Pop-Pop. Kevin loved little Brett and called him "Shorty".

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Road, Elsmere, on Thursday, November. 7 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30-10:30 am on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Mill Creek Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, 3900 Kirkwood Highway, Marshallton, DE 19808.
