Kevin F. Toner

Age 54, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Christiana Hospital.

Kevin worked at the Fleet National Bank. He most recently worked for both Lehane Bus Service and the University of Delaware as a driver.

Kevin was born and raised in Historic New Castle. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Middletown where he served as an usher. Kevin was an avid fan of all sports. He was an umpire for M.O.T. Little League for many years.

Kevin was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, and brother who will be missed by all who knew him.

Kevin was the son of the late Joseph F. Toner. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Karen A. (Gorman) Toner; his children, Brian D. Toner and Gwen; Jaime L. Toner, Mary E. Toner, Peter J. Toner; his mother Evlyn M. Toner; his brothers and sisters, Jerry, Dennis, Thomas, Kathy, Mike, and Susan; his beloved grandchildren, Vanessa, Brittney, Cheyenne and Elizabeth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter R. C. Church, 5th & Harmony Sts., New Castle on Thursday, May 27th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at St. Peter R.C. Church from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle.
