Kim Willey

Age 68 of Wilmington

Passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023.

Kim was a dedicated nurse for many years. She worked in pediatric nursing before she began her career as a hospice nurse. Kim had a big heart and kind soul which made her an excellent nurse.

She was a faithful Christian. Kim was a friend of Bill W. and immensely proud of her Cherokee heritage. She loved spending her down time reading, doing arts and crafts, and listening to classic rock. Kim loved old Westerns and was better then anyone at word puzzles and brain teasers. Most of all Kim loved her family and friends and will be remembered most for her selflessness in helping others.

Kim is survived by her son, Josh, and her 3 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Saturday, Jan 13, 2024, at 11:00. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:30-11:00. Interment will be private.
