Lawrence Maruszczak
Larry,73, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2012 at home with his loving wife, Sandy, and his family by his side.
After graduating from Salesianum High School he worked at the News Journal as a stereo type setter. Larry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing from an early age. He was an accomplished fisherman and a founding member of Millpond Bassmasters Assoc., and showed champion German Shepherds. He loved music, gardening, NASCAR, and his family.
Larry leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Sandra Maruszczak (Krysztoforski). He was father of Laure Maruszczak, Andrea Maruszczak Valentine (Scott), Lawrence Maruszczak (Connie), and Nicholas Maruszczak (Cindy). He was grandfather of Christopher and Michael Valentine, Danny Salter Jr., Shawn and Matthew Fisher, and Angel Swartz. He was uncle to Timothy Maruszczak.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 10:30 am. Friends may call at the church from 9:30-10:30 am Wednesday morning. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Compassionate Care, 702B Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19805.
