Lillian, better known as Dorothy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was the daughter of the late Michalina and John S. Lewandowski. She was a graduate of Wilmington High school class of 1944. She went on to the Delaware Hospital of Nursing. She graduated in 1947 and became a registered nurse. Dorothy was a lifelong member of St. Hedwig parish in Wilmington and was a firm believer in the power of prayer.

She was preceded in death by her 10 siblings, Frances, Stephen, Rose, Theodore, John A., Edward, Irene, Evelyn, Alfred and Camille.

Dorothy is survived by her many devoted and loving nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 19 at 11 am. at St. Hedwig Church, 408 S Harrison St, Wilmington, DE 19805. Friends may call at the church from 10-11.
Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
