Obituary
Passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 surrounded by her devoted family after a short battle with leukemia.
She was born on July 10, 1959 to the late Joseph and Catherine (Kenney) Netta.
Lorraine was a 1977 graduate of Conrad High School and attended UD and DTCC. She was a long-time employee of Alpine & Rafetto Orthodontics, previously employed by Matlack. She was a member of Marshallton UMC where she sang in the choir and assisted in youth programs. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and the beach, but her greatest joy was spending time socially with her family, especially including activities with her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her outgoing personality and nurturing and loving manner.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Stanley (Sam) Scheib; her daughters, Lauren Temple (Steve) and Lisa Cuomo (Kyle Gallegos); her stepchildren, Stephen Scheib and Stephanie Patterson (DJ); her brothers and sisters, Joyce, Joe (Kathy), Larry (Sherry), Mike (Jen) Netta, and Marianne Morrow; and five grandchildren, Anthony Cuomo, Ava Denney, Kayla Temple, Dominic Gallegos, and Sabrina Patterson.
Lorraine's family would like to thank her care team at CCHS especially those in 6B and 3E MICU – all who took such wonderful care of her.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Marshallton UMC where family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
